So, tomorrow will be officially the last game for this girls in Greenleasjfc colours 💚

They are looking forward to being a part of what will be a very special day in remembering one of the club's parents!

We encourage anyone who has the time to come along and relates to the story or has a connection with the family to come along and be apart of something special 💚⚽️

Amazing way to end the season as we close in on our final weeks as a Greenleas team 💚

It is a pleasure for us as coaches to coach and watch these young women grow. They never fail to suprise us season after season with their dedication and willingness to develop. Looking back its been another amazing year for them all!

We will be running a World Cup Sweep.

All envelopes will be £10 and if we are quick with this, people will know their teams by presentation!

Winner will recieve £150
Runner up £50
Top Scorer £50
1st Knocked out £10 back

All teams will be entered into envelopes and each participant will be assigned a sealed envelope. I will not be revealing teams until they are all sold. 🫠

Two great days with the girls!

First one at Poulton Athletic boys tournament yesterday with the girls pushing themselves again some Dive 2 and 3 teams at their own age. Unlucky to miss out losing by a goal in their semi final 🙃

Then today they took a trip down to Llandudno, not conceding a goal all day until the Final 🫣. They'd just took their foot off the gas is probably the fairest way of explaining it 🤣 just missing out and coming runners up of the tournament 💚.

Brilliant night all round at the Greenleasjfc Tournament!

Greens ending up in the Dava Finnigan Top Cup Final and narrowly missing out with the last kick of the game 👏

Greys eventual winners of the Europa League Final 💚

Both teams played some brilliant football all night and we had some cracking goals scored throughout!

What an incredible weekend with these young ladies at Flamingo Land 🎢⚽️🏆

Plenty of football, plenty of fun and laughter across 4 days with all the girls as well as the parents 😀

💚 Athena vs Vauxhall 💙

Girls played their final league game of the season on Wednesday night up at Vauxhall and came away with a brilliant 3-0 win.

From the 1st whistle the girls where at it. Set up with three at the back we wanted to go after the game in the other half of the pitch. Eventually getting pur reward when Hollie broke through after some good forward play with her and Ella.

The 2nd goal wasnt far behind with some good football around the box eventually found the ball at Sophias feet to lift into the far corner beyond everyone else.

Into the second half and we slightly adjusted the shape on the pitch again but kept with two girls at the top end to encourage the team to break quickly. We eventually got our 3rd when Lillie managed to just stay on side and slot her chance past the Vauxhall keeper 💚

Player of the Match - Lillie 🏆

Outstanding game once again for Lillie, firstly showing her ability to be calm under pressure whilst in the back three during the 1st half. Wanting to step out with the ball and find a forward pass through the midfield. Into second half and Lillie went from stopping to scoring. Holds the ball brilliantly up front and managed to hold her line and stay on side for her goal 👏 Well done Lillie 💚

Massive well done to all the girls this season as they took a big step up moving up a year into division one! The results have been mixed but the development has been excellent across the season 👏
