Tantoni Salamanca, known in the stable as Stan, has all the makings of an international Junior, Young Rider and Small Tour superstar. With three expressive paces, a beautiful frame and a charming personality to match, he oozes star quality.
Stan’s competition record speaks for itself as he is consistently scoring well over 70% and has broken the 80% barrier at Medium level. He has competed at the National Championships multiple times and has two Regional Championship titles to his name at Novice Gold and Medium Gold. Stan is currently competing at Advanced Medium consistently scoring 68%+ and is already qualified for the Advanced Medium Gold Winter Regionals.
In training, Stan is a pleasure to have on the yard. He goes well in both a snaffle and double bridle and although a tall horse, he is incredibly light and easy to ride and tries his best every session to improve and please his rider (rider pictured is 5’6’). Stan is training towards PSG with the canter pirouettes and the extensions proving to be a real highlight. Stan also has the beginnings of the Piaffe/Passage and is showing real promise.
At home, at shows and in any aspect of management, Stan is a true gentleman who is uncomplicated and well mannered. He is easy to clip, shoe, travel and load.
This is a genuine and much loved horse who combines a beautiful temperament with unlimited talent and is sure to go on to achieve further success with his next rider. He would be ideally suited to a Junior or Young Rider wanting to aim for a spot on the Teams or a competitive and ambitious amateur wanting to compete at the higher levels.
