Wakefield Judo Club The study and practice of Kodokan Judo. Run by Dave Hammond, 5th Dan in both Judo and Taiho Jutsu.

The club incorporates traditional practises of both standing and ground work randori, with a focus on good judo technique and fitness.

White Pyjama Tour stop six - Smoothflo, Scarborough

A mixture of BBJ and judo people here by the seaside, where I was invited to do a three hour seminar on shime waza.
A highly enjoyable course, where I shared the pain (and love) equally across the group. BBJ people in particular liked my demonstration of ryote jimi, against what they call stacking. Whatever 😀
The course was nicely rounded off by a curry and a blether.

NORTHBROOK KYU SHIN KAI, SE London.

I was a member of this club when I returned to judo in mid-ninties. Run originally by Albert Currier, who I trained with under the legendary Charlie Clarke. Albert's son took over and the session I attended was run by Aaron, a former pupil of Brian Jacks.
The club ethos remains the same. Whatever level, you are welcome. They all care for each other, notable in that whenever a big throw occured you could hear tori instantly say "you good?"
Hopefully my contribution on real time judp was well received.
A typically diverse South East London Club, we decamped to the pub: an Amercan, a Catalan, a Sikh, English and mixed race: Home.

Day one of sensei's tour: Sheffield Aikido Club.
This is a grade one aikido club, where i reinforced very practical and transferable skills, training with some great people: notably humanitarian anti-racists.
