⚽️RESULT⚽️

Our Open Age Men made a winning start to the new league season with a comfortable victory over Scot FC yesterday.

Man of the Match Ethan Greaves scored in both halves along with goals from David Livie, Max Metcalfe and Ty Williams to secure 3️⃣ points for Matt Allen’s side.

We had plenty of chances and could have won by more: Williams had a first half strike superbly saved by the Scot ‘keeper while Harrison Marfitt hit both the post and bar.

For what little it’s worth, the win puts us top of the Wakefield Universal Leisure Division One table at this very early stage.

Many at Tingley Athletic will remember Michelle Robinson, whose daughter Orla used to play for the club until just a couple of years ago.

During their time with us, Michelle was a tremendous supporter who gave so much of her time and energy to fundraise across the entire club, well beyond just her own daughter’s team.

​Orla is now taking on a fundraising challenge in loving memory of her mum who recently passed, raising vital funds for Brain Tumour Research.

Michelle gave so much to our club community, and we would love to rally around Orla and help her raise as much as possible for such an important cause.

​🟢 Striker Tots Mini Camp (Ages 2–5)
​Focus: Fun games, movement, coordination, and building confidence in a nurturing environment

​Times: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM

​🔵 Premier Kids Junior Camp (Ages 5–11)

​Our Annual General Meeting is coming up on 14th September, and we want to invite our whole community to join us!

​Every year at the AGM, all current trustees stand down, opening up roles for the upcoming 26/27 season. If you want to make a real difference in our club's future, consider standing for a trustee position!

​Who can stand? Anyone! You can nominate yourself or someone else (with their permission).
​Requirements: All nominations must have a seconder.
​Deadline: Sunday, 31st August (14 days prior to the AGM).
