Wakefield Philatelic Society (WPS) was founded in December 1938, and held its first meeting on 4th January 1939. It is for all who are interested in Philately, in stamps and postal history, whether UK or any nation worldwide or thematic collections. We welcome beginners and experienced philatelists to our meetings. Wakefield Philatelic Society meets on many Wednesdays throughout the year (usually

Visitors of all philatelic abilities and interests are always welcome to Wakefield Philatelic Society (WPS), which usually meets on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of most months, at Thornes Juniors Football Club, Queen's Drive, WF5 9BX (what3words address: refilled.blaze.hoops). In addition WPS continues to hold occasional Zoom sessions.
