The campaign raises awareness of simple steps that can help prevent falls, improve balance and strength, and reduce risks both at home and in the community.

Bookings are now open for our upcoming STA Level 3 Award in Pool Lifeguarding at Sun Lane Leisure.

If you're looking to gain a recognised qualification, develop valuable lifesaving skills, or start a career in the leisure industry, this course could be for you.

🏊 Swim Test: Thursday 15th October, 7:00pm
📅 Course Dates: Monday 26th October to Friday 30th October
⏰ Course Times: 9:00am to 7:00pm each day

Gym Refurbishment Update - Phase 3 Begins Monday 21 September ✨

We're excited to be moving into Phase 3 of our gym refurbishment project as we continue investing in an even better fitness experience for our members.

As part of the next stage of works, the male changing facilities will be temporarily closed from Monday 21 September.

✅ Accessible toilet facilities will remain available
✅ Female changing facilities are unaffected and will remain open as normal

To help minimise disruption, we kindly ask customers to arrive ready for their workout or activity.

We'd like to thank you for your continued patience, understanding and support while these improvements are being carried out.

Adult & Toddler Swimming Lessons at Normanton Leisure Centre

Looking for a fun way to introduce your little one to the water?

Our Adult & Toddler swimming lessons are designed for children aged 1 to 2 years, helping them develop early water confidence through a child-led approach using songs, games and playful activities in a safe and supportive environment.

📍Normanton Leisure Centre
📅 Mondays

⏰ Session 1: 9:30am to 10:00am
⏰ Session 2: 10:00am to 10:30am

👶 Suitable for children aged 1 to 2 years with an accompanying adult
👥 Maximum 8 toddlers and their adults per session

These engaging classes provide an enjoyable introduction to the water, helping little ones build confidence while developing key early swimming and water safety skills through play.

🚧 Temporary Gym Now Open at Aspire @ Thornes Park Stadium 🚧

While our gym makeover is taking place, we've created a temporary training space so you can continue to stay active and work towards your goals.

Available equipment includes Ski Ergs, Rowers, Assault Bikes, Watt Bike, free weights, kettlebells, dumbbells, benches, boxing bags, sled push and pull, slam balls, wall balls, core bags, plyo boxes and more.

Thank you for your patience while we invest in improving your fitness experience. We can't wait to reveal the transformed gym soon! 💪
