It was a great chance to show the work our coaches and members do every day — building confidence, developing skills, and creating a positive, inclusive space for the Wakefield community.

What a weekend at Game Fight Wakefield!

We were proud to welcome Professor Mabsy Tiozinho Alam for kids’ and adults’ seminars — packed with top-level details and energy.

A huge moment for the team as our head coach Piotr was awarded his black belt by Professor Mabsy. Years of dedication and hard work have brought him here, and Wakefield is now led by a resident black belt.

Thank you, Professor Mabsy, for sharing your knowledge and making it a day to remember.

From the very first session back in June 2022 , when we were just getting started, you’ve been there. You’ve put in the hard work, stayed consistent, and shown real growth on and off the mats. 286 combined sessions is no small feat!

It’s been a privilege watching you progress, compete, and represent the team with pride. Your energy, dedication, and support for your teammates have made a lasting impact.

This isn’t goodbye, once Game Fight, always Game Fight. We’ll be cheering you on from afar and hope to see you back on the mats whenever you can make it.
