This evening we begin our preparations for the 26/27 season with a friendly against Wakefield United.

The boys are buzzing to be back, ready to get started and hoping to start with a win. We’ll have plenty of new faces on show, as well some old faces we’d rather not see! Either way we’re excited to see how new partnerships grow and the new lads settle in.

As always, any support is always welcome if you want to come down and watch the boys blow off some cobwebs.

⚽️WE ARE BACK!⚽️

3 things guaranteed in life…. Death, taxes and hearing a rumour every summer that the Peacock are folding.

Unfortunately for you rumour mongering bellends, there was never any doubt that we’d be back for our 52nd season as a club and even more unfortunate, we’re coming back stronger!

Off the pitch, our pub is back open, there’s a new kit with new colours coming and real buzz about the club at the minute.

On the pitch, we’ve made some real solid signings over the summer, held on to everyone and are looking in real good shape as we begin our pre-season schedule next week. Details on that to follow.

We are always looking at bolstering our squad, so if you without a team and looking for a new side, or your club is run by absolute whoppers and fancy a new challenge, don’t hesitate to reach out and see what the fuss is about. There’s never been a better time to join us!

❗️SEMI-FINAL SUNDAY❗️

Tomorrow morning we welcome East End Park down to Grasmere in the League Cup Semi-Final.

Not a lot is known about tomorrow’s opponents, but we never worry too much about the opposition. We spend more time worrying if Lewis will go to the right pitch, if John will get out of bed, whether Regan Dixon brings his bo****ks and if Heppy has dried the kit!

With a strong squad to choose from, we’re doing all we can to ensure tomorrow’s game goes ahead as scheduled. At the minute, the pitch is playable and we’re hoping for no more rainfall overnight. A pitch inspection is due at 8:30 in the morning so we’ll update on the page after that.

Free up your morning, get down and support the boys. Let’s fill that sideline like no other club in this league does!

Dregsy has once again gone across to Australia to link up with the Caroline Springs George Cross club. We’re looking forward to waking up early on a weekend and watching him to see how he and his club get on in the Victoria National Premier League.
