Been very busy making whole new plans for this year. Including taking people on wild fungi and fauna walks.

The whole gentleman's garden is now due reorganisation and reconstruction. With greenhouses will be turned into one, the beds need redoing, outbuildings to go in, lots to do!! I will however be keeping good records here.

In the meantime I have been adding new content to my YouTube channel.

I love growing winter salads. Mizuna in particular. This year we also have a mustard and Mibuna too. Just a little zing to add to a winter warming dinner. Perfect for tonights Spag Bol 😋

Here already!! 🐻 Bears leeks - Wild garlic 🧄 - Allium ursinum ✨️ - call it what you will. To me it's a sign that winter is coming to an end and Spring is just around the corner.
I'll be making salt, pesto, stuffing potatoes for the campfire, tasty tansies, the list is almost endless 😋

Chimonanthus praecox, Winter-sweet. A boring shrub but one of my favourites, because of its most fabulous flowers. The fragrance is incredible but you've gotta get up close and be quick to experience it. A true herald of late winter and the forthcoming spring.
