END OF SEASON SQUARE WORK

Will take place on Saturday 5th October at 09.30. We had a good turnout of last year and got the job done by around 12.00. We need at least 6 people to help transport and spread the fertiliser, seed and loam across the square.

There will be a list in the pavilion to put your name up but feel free to let me know by email or text. Please don't wait to be asked...

Thank you

John

URGENT: Dan Prince memorial match - Sunday 25th August

The club is pleased to be hosting this event again and Andy Taylor is kindly organising things from our end.

He urgently needs some volunteers to run the bar. We need three people on at all times to cater for the crowd that come.

A couple have already volunteered but we need a lot more. Just an hour or so makes all the difference.

Please help and let Andy know asap when. Slots are available from 11.30 until 22.00

Thank you

John

A big thank you to all who came to the President's day on Sunday. Old & new faces and a great turnout, good food (thanks Nicky and Ki) and some wonderful cricket.

Satisfying wins for the club and for the 3rd year running.

Finally, a very big thank you to our President Dick Tonkin for his generosity on the day and sportsmanship on the field. A few more years yet please Dick.

Hi Everyone,

Notice has been given that 2 EGMs are to be held at the pavilion on Thursday 27th September starting at 19.45.

The first is to change the club’s rules regarding what constitutes a quorum/voting to reflect the current membership numbers. It was agreed at the AGM that this should take place.

The second is regarding the proposed development of a new village hall and housing on the football field which got the support of the Parish Council on Thursday. The committee needs to know the feelings of the club. This is URGENT as our Hall & Field Trustee requires direction by the end of this month.

Please make every effort to attend.

Thank you

John
