OK so supplements are something that I've been playing around with for years, I'm also taking creatine and BCAAs daily, getting a decent amount of protein in. Trying to train when I can.
But for the last 18months or so I've been making my own body a research vessel.
I've lost 12kgs of body fat I gained from eating bad and drinking too much. Increased muscle mass. And in the last few months seeing strength return to pre covid levels where I was strong AF
Some of these may or may not work for you, some of them are bound to cause people to tell me they don't work and are total bulls*it. But, having messed about with different options, brands and concoctions I find that these work for me.
They work for my busy lifestyle, my needs and where I currently am with my current goals. They may not work for you, everyone is different.
But let's chat if you need help.
Small changes and additions can see huge results. Here's a quick overview;
💊 Vitamin D; helps my body absorb calcium, which as an older guy I need to keep my bones strong
💊 TestoMax; (a brand name) but it's a researched group of natural vitamins and minerals that help maintain my testosterone levels. I've been through several types of these and these work for me well currently.
💊 Lions Mane; a mushroom that helps protect memory, fight against dementia, helps suppress depression, promotes healthy nerve cell recovery, reduce inflammation, and supports my immune system.
💊 Ashwaganda; the 'Indian Ginseng' an ayurvedic medicine that's 1000s of years old that helps to ease pain, reduce inflammation, boost nutrition, reduce fatigue and boost s*x drive.
💊 Tribulus Terrestris; increase athletic performance, boost libido this is on a 90day cycle. With a break of several weeks in between taking it. Still trying this supplement out.
💊 Multi Vit; just to top up anything missing.
💊 Tongkat Ali; improves low testosterone, helps with anxiety, athletic performance and muscle mass. Reduce stress.
