West Wales Trails is a mountain bike trail building business with a small bike park at our HQ near Drefach-Felindre in Carmarthenshire, west Wales. Recent construction projects include a trail centre at Llys y Fran reservoir in Pembrokeshire, and trails and pumptracks at Scolton Manor near Haverfordwest and Newtown in Powys. Past clients have included local authorities, charity organisations and p

rivate landowners. Our scope of services is vast and can include design and construction for any type of wheels from motocross bikes to 4x4 buggies. The WWT bike park is open any time on arrangement so just get in touch by phone or message before you’re thinking of heading up. From here, we run a weekly Saturday morning Little Rippers kids bike club that is open to all ages and abilities. We also offer bike tech, servicing and sales and this includes servicing of shocks.

THEY WILL BULLDOZE RYAN'S LEGACY. We have until 31st December to save Tirpentwys Trails forever. This is an emergency.

This isn't just about trails. This is about a promise. When Ryan Bullimore poured his heart and soul into the Welsh hillside, he wasn't just building jumps; he was building a community. This place was his life's passion, a legacy tragically sealed on the very tracks he loved.

For years, we, the volunteers, have honoured his memory with thousands of hours of unpaid work. Our success, the very thing that made this place so special, attracted official attention and with it, a mountain of soul-crushing red tape. To survive, we were forced to pay for thousands of pounds worth of reports and surveys, and it has wiped us out. We now face a final, non-negotiable shortfall of £3,500, and we have until 31st December to find it.

Let us be absolutely clear. If we fail, this isn't a setback. It is the end. The C.I.C. will be forced to dissolve, and the trails—every berm, every jump that Ryan dreamed of—will be flattened by bulldozers. Ryan's legacy will be physically erased from the hillside. For good.

Over 480 of you have donated before to get us this far, and we are eternally grateful. Now, everything we have built together is on the line. We have fought as hard as we can; now, only you can stop this from happening. To close this final, devastating gap, we need 140 people to become heroes today and donate £25 to fund the last reports and save the trails.

Every second counts. The bulldozers are waiting. Your donation is the only thing standing in their way. Please, click the link below to donate NOW and be the hero that saves Ryan's legacy.

Thank you all.

NRW......putting public fun back in their pockets

Such sad news, I hope NRW and the Welsh government pull their heads out of their arses. These are such important and iconic Mountain biking and outdoor centres which together are used by millions.
There must be a way forward..........

NATURAL Resources Wales is to close three visitor centres, it has confirmed.

Calling all 'local' people with 5-10 minutes to spare! One of our past project sites has become the focus of some research for one of us, which is exploring how Llys y Fran Reservoir Country Park in Pembrokeshire can affect the well-being of local communities - visitors and non-visitors. All responses are anonymous and the results may help with better planning for places like this. Click on the link for more info, thank you in advance and please do share with anyone and everyone (locally)!

Thank you for showing an interest in this project. Please read this information sheet before deciding whether or not to participate. What is the aim of the project?
