Bits and bobs from the past few months, in no particular order šŸ’™ Very grateful for these gorgeous doggos and great peoples!

As always, these are the moments I’ve chosen to capture and remember. Life isn’t always sunshine and highlights, and there are definitely some tougher things happening behind the scenes too. Not everything gets shared here, sometimes for my own sake and sometimes out of respect for other people’s privacy.

One thing I keep coming back to is that, whatever else is going on, there’s still value in making time for the things that help you feel good, grounded, and like yourself. It doesn’t change everything, but it can make a real difference in how you show up for both yourself and the people around you šŸ’ŖšŸ»

Hey šŸ‘‹ I am back!

It’s been a bit mad lately so a mini update where I will try not to over share, something I’m a little too good at 😬

I am accepting that sometimes things just don’t line up, no matter how hard you try and with that I’ve made the decision to pull out of Brighton Marathon 🄲

The past few weeks haven’t gone to plan. I’ve been ill, missed some key runs, and something bigger has come up at home that’s made me realise where my energy needs to be right now.

Separate to that I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism, which I’m still learning to understand and manage. It’s explained a lot, especially why training and recovery has felt harder than I was used to. I’m now trying to work with my body not against it.

Dropping out of the marathon is frustrating, but it’s the right call. This isn’t quitting, it’s perspective and running will always be there. I will šŸ’Æ be signing up to another run at a later date.

The main reason for this post is that I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported and donated to Alzheimer’s Society. It genuinely means a lot, and this is still a cause very close to me. So many of us will be affected by dementia at some point in our lives, whether that’s a friend, grandparent, parent, or someone close to us.

Raising awareness around this matters, not just understanding the disease, but also learning how we can better support our own brain health over time.

This is something I feel strongly about, not just because of what we’ve experienced as a family, but because I want to look after my own brain, and help you do the same.

More on that soon. 🧠

For now, I am back to lifting weights, learning to support my hormones and health, building as much muscle as I can and feeling my best for those that matter most ā™„ļø

Sometimes what feels like failure is just a nudge to put your energy in the right place. šŸ’ŖšŸ»
