It’s Race Week 🙌
Next up; SPEED SUNDAY: NON-CONTACT SPECIAL!
The Hednesford Hills Raceway will come alive with thousands of pounds of machinery flying around the Home of Hot Rod racing, featuring...
2.0 Hot Rods - Midland Championship
High speed racing, wheelarch-to-wheelarch battles and breathtaking action… Known around the Raceways as "2 Litres", they are one of the most competitive on the Spedeworth/Incarace circus: often resulting in sensational Hot Rod racing as these spaceframe hatchback cars' engines roar as they frantically race around the track.
National Hot Rods - 2024/25 World Qualifying Round 9
The fastest formula on the UK ovals, these specialised, purpose-built and highly tuned cars are a true spectacle: the speeds these cars can achieve in such a confined space has to be seen to be believed. Different drivers compete in different cars - with Mazda, Lotus, Ford, Vauxhall and Ginettas the current top chassis, circulating just millimetres apart at full tilt with no room for error - there are no track limits here: get it wrong and drivers are in the safety fence!
Rookie Rods
This low-budget, non-contact formula is the perfect starting ground for drivers who are wanting to take to the ovals, with deliberately limited rules to ensure evenly matched cars and plenty of close racing. Watch out for plenty of action and super-close racing!
Stock Rods - Hoosier Racing Tire Series Round
Hatchbacks which on the road are used to go to the shops, but when they take to the Spedeworth/Incarace ovals provide some of the closest racing seen on the Spedeworth/Incarace ovals! These race prepped and highly-competitive cars are one of the most evenly matched when it comes to car spec - meaning spectators can look forward to side by side, wheelarch to wheelarch racing from these fast and furious racers.
UK Modifieds
Powered by 200bhp motorcycle engines but weighing just 500kg, the UK Modifieds are a high-speed spectacle when they take to the track! Plenty of skill is demanded from drivers, resulting in some superb tail-sliding action from the rear wheel drive custom-built cars which look like they have come straight from the USA.
