🚨 IMPORTANT MESSAGE - Please read 🚨
Good afternoon beautiful people,
I wanted to message you on here first, before speaking about this properly in person, because it’s a big decision and one that comes with a lot of emotions. I was waiting for confirmation on my new house before saying anything - and now that everything is confirmed, I feel ready to share it with you.
After much thought, I am sad to announce that my last Zumba Fitness class at Flixton Girls School will be on Tuesday 31st March.
I’ve been teaching Zumba since December 2011, and I’ve been running our community class every single week since January 2018. That’s years of nights filled with sweat, laughter, friendships, themed classes, sore legs and so many incredible memories. This class has carried me through so much in life, including lockdown - mentally, physically and emotionally. You have no idea how much it has meant to me.
The decision hasn’t been easy. I’m moving closer to the Etihad Stadium, and getting through the city centre at 6pm every Tuesday - especially with traffic and events - is going to be really challenging. On top of that, my main business has grown a lot (which I’m so grateful for), but with Altrincham Market now running four days a week - including Tuesdays - on top of my regular events, workshops and online orders, my days are regularly stretching to 13 hours.
From a business point of view, April being the start of a new tax year also feels like the right moment to close this chapter.
But please know this: I am absolutely gutted. This class has been my therapy, my release, my joy. And you have been the heart of it. Your loyalty, your energy, your support… I will forever be grateful.
If you would like me to, I can ask around and see if another instructor would be interested in taking over the class so Tuesday nights can continue. And knowing me… I’m sure I’ll make a guest appearance or two 🙏
If you still have classes left on your pass, I’ll reach out to you individually to discuss the best option for you.
We still have a few Tuesdays together - and I promise we will make every single one count. Let’s celebrate everything we’ve built over these years.
