We’ve designed a clear, structured route for young people who want to take the next step beyond being a student⭐️

Every stage includes clear expectations, mentoring, and assessment, helping young people develop leadership, communication, responsibility, and real coaching experience along the way.

The pathway wasn’t created from theory, it was built around the journey we’ve already seen successful Free Spirit coaches take.

Participants work their way through the 3 stages: volunteer, assistant, and lead coach, with progress tracking, in-house coaching experience, and a dedicated mentor.

Something we’ve been building for a long time is finally here. 🙌

Introducing the Free Spirit Coach Development Pathway — a structured programme that takes passionate students and grows them into certified coaches.

Three stages. Real mentorship. A genuine credential at the end.

This isn’t just about parkour. It’s about developing leadership, confidence, communication, and resilience — skills that go way beyond sport.

Two of our current coaches, Megan and Elliott, started exactly this way — as students who grew into the role. Now we’re making that journey intentional and open to everyone who’s ready for it.

If you’re 13+, love what we do at Free Spirit, and want to take the next step — this is for you. You don’t need to be the most advanced mover. Attitude and commitment matter most.
