And do you know what?

It was lovely. ❤️

There was a time when I might have worried about what people thought.

Now I see it differently.

Spending time on your own isn’t lonely.

It’s peaceful.

It’s a chance to slow down, gather your thoughts and enjoy your own company.

As women, we’re so used to looking after everyone else that we often forget to make time for ourselves.

Can I be honest?

Today I’m not feeling 100%.

Even as a coach, I have days where my energy isn’t where I’d like it to be.

But one thing I’ve learned over the years is that you don’t have to feel motivated to keep moving forward.

Sometimes progress looks like smashing a workout.

Sometimes it looks like going for a walk, drinking your water and giving yourself a bit of grace.

Fitness isn’t about being perfect every single day.

It’s about showing up as the best version of yourself that you can be, whatever that looks like today.

So if you’re having one of those days too, don’t give up.

Do what you can, not what you think you should.

Tomorrow is another opportunity, and one small step today is still a step in the right direction. 💜

Not just physically, but mentally too.

If you’d told me 10 years ago that I’d be a cancer survivor, a menopause coach, competing in HYROX at 55 and helping women transform their lives through fitness…

I probably wouldn’t have believed you.

Life has a way of testing us, but it also has a way of showing us just how strong we can be.

That’s why it makes me sad when I hear women say:

❌ “I’m too old.”
❌ “It’s too late.”
❌ “I’ll never be fit again.”

Because none of those things are true.

You are capable of so much more than you think.

You don’t need to become a different person.

You just need to start believing in yourself again ❤️

A little honesty for your feed today… ❤️

Nobody wakes up wanting to feel sluggish.

Nobody wants to feel out of breath walking upstairs.

Nobody wants to feel uncomfortable in their own clothes.

And nobody wants to spend their later years wishing they’d looked after themselves sooner.

Yet so many people keep waiting for the “perfect time” to start.

The truth is, there isn’t one.

You don’t have to be extreme.
You don’t have to live in the gym.
You don’t have to survive on salads.

But you do need to do something.

A walk.
A workout.
A healthier meal.
An earlier night.

Small actions repeated consistently can completely change how you feel.

Your future self is being built by the choices you make today.
