Reflections on a Successful Water Safety Week
What an incredible week it has been! Our beach-based water safety lessons at Matt Fiddes West Sussex have truly been a highlight, providing invaluable education to all our students. Given the coastal location of our community, it's essential that our students learn how to enjoy the beach and water safely. This week, students from all our schools gathered together, some meeting each other for the first time. This not only promoted new friendships but also reinforced the understanding of the vast team they are part of.
Fostering a Sense of Community
Bringing students from different schools together allowed them to see the true size and strength of our community. It was heart warming to witness the camaraderie and support among them, as they shared experiences and learned together. This sense of unity is what makes our team so special and strong.

Congratulations to Our South East Regional Championship Competitors
We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to all of our competitors who recently represented us at the South East Regional Championships in Burgess Hill. Our fantastically talented Championship squad did an amazing job, coming away with an impressive haul of gold, silver, and bronze medals.
Team Spirit and Support
As an instructor and head coach, I was incredibly proud of the unwavering team support that each member of the squad displayed. Whether it was offering words of encouragement from the sidelines, celebrating successes together, or, more importantly, providing motivation and support when things didn't go as planned, the teamwork and camaraderie among these students were nothing short of inspirational.
Their dedication and mutual support exemplify the true spirit of what it means to be part of our championship squad. Well done, team!
