Big Garden Birdwatch Jan 28th-30th
Every year we’re always excited to count the different birds in the garden and report our findings to the RSPB.
This year we’d like to make it even more fun by collecting data from everyone in Upham who takes part so that we’d have Upham specific information.
If you’ve not done it before please go to rspb.org.uk for all the details.
If you live in Upham, as well as reporting your results to RSPB please report them to Jane Ashe.
Upham results will be analysed and published at the Upham Gardening for Wildlife Fair in September this year.

Please join us between 10am and 12 noon on Saturday 2nd October in Upham Village Hall to learn more about the new Village Design Statement and the Wi******er Road plans. Your views on both of these are so important to the further development of these projects.

Village design statements are intended to provide guidance for any development proposals and to inform planning decisions. A working group has conducted surveys of the village which will be presented for your information and more importantly for your input and comments.

The Parish Council has been working on traffic calming plans for the Wi******er Road - you may have read about these in Upham Update. Plans include road marking changes, verge planting and more.

There will be coffee and biscuits and a chance to chat to village councillors and other residents.
