First race in 4 years! It was a great 10k, despite the hill finish 😅 Thanks and a massive thanks to all the volunteers who cheered us on!

Not a PB (56.38) but very pleased with my time considering how long it’s been 😍

It’s spring, so I thought I’d stick my head above the parapet 😂

Mainly because I’m getting really fed up with the constant “summer body” messaging all over my feed.

You don’t need a new body every summer.

Coaches pushing this narrative are often just reinforcing unhealthy relationships with food and encouraging the same cycle of yo-yo dieting, year after year.

Speaking as someone who’s worked hard to heal their own relationship with food, I’m asking you not to jump on that bandwagon.

Instead, focus on long-term health, feeling good in your body, and building habits that actually last.

You deserve better than starting over every summer.

I’m here to help my clients feel healthy, strong, and capable, not to obsess over weight loss or calorie counting.

I want to cheer you on lifting that 100kg deadlift, I want you to build a better relationship with food and exercise and I want to live a long, happy life!

And for me, that centres around celebrating:
• strength gains
• confidence
• energy
• resilience
• what your body can do, not what it weighs

Strong mindset = Strong women.
This is the work that actually lasts 🤍
