At Body Conditioning, we're constantly experimenting with new exercises and training methods to stay ahead of the game.

Today, Kirsty was working through rotational strength patterns and movement drills, the kind of work that improves strength, movement quality and how your body performs in everyday life. Carrying, twisting, reaching, reacting. The stuff real life actually demands.

Even coaches need coaches.

Most people assume trainers don't struggle with this stuff. The truth is, we deal with the exact same things our clients do. Injuries. Drift. Periods where motivation drops and training starts to feel like going through the motions.

I've got my own coach I'm accountable to. When my training slips, or I'm working through an injury, or I'm not sure what I want to achieve next, I jump on sessions with him and get myself back in the game.

It's the same conversation we had in the gym this week. When you're injured for a long time, or you've not got an event on the horizon, training drifts. We all lack accountability at times.
Even for us as coaches, having someone in our corner is fundamental. Without it, you guess. You drift. You go through the motions.

That's exactly why our members have us. Not to scream at them. To guide them, hold them accountable, and keep them moving forward when life makes it hard.

Confidence doesn't appear out of nowhere.

A few months ago, this member didn't have the confidence to pick up a weight.

Today, she benched 30kg for the first time.

At Body Conditioning, we look at someone's entire week, not just the hour they spend in the gym. Strength sessions are the foundation. From there, we look at everything else.
