Legend of Wigan and a true ambassador

Wigan Athletic is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Sir Billy Boston.

A true sporting icon and proud advocate for everything our town stands for, Sir Billy leaves behind an extraordinary legacy both on and off the field.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, all at Wigan Warriors and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him at this incredibly difficult time.

Rest in peace, Sir Billy. 💙
