West Hampstead Hockey Club Hockey for all abilities & a super social scene! We’re the first choice club in London! 🏑🤩 For membership enquiries and more information, email: [email protected]

West Hampstead Hockey Club has been attracting serious and social players from all over London for nearly 30 years. The club currently boasts 8 mens and 7 ladies teams, as well as a thriving youth section – providing children with coaching often not available at the local schools. The top mens and ladies teams play in the Southern Premier division with National League aspirations, whilst the lower teams provide a great mix of competitive spirit and social opportunities. During the summer, the club offers more social hockey in the form of weekend tournaments in England and beyond, mixed friendlies and summer league competition. Although the club is based at the Cumberland, home matches are played at Whitefield School near Brent Cross on Saturdays. All teams also benefit from dedicated coaches, with training sessions taking place on week days, also at Whitefield School. New membership enquiries are always welcome, especially from those with aspirations to play at the highest level.

Our club, our people, our Spotlight

This week we’re celebrating the Men’s 6s and Women’s 6s, with two wins worth a team photo!

The Men’s 6s got off to a flying start against Ealing, scoring three in the opening 30 minutes. Tom L and Michael B were among the scorers, with the team seeing out a 3 to 1 win despite a late Ealing goal.

The Women’s 6s made us wait a little longer! Trailing Southgate 2 to 1, Mara J levelled from a penalty corner before Sarah J struck her second of the game in the 67th minute to seal a hard fought 3 to 2 win. Never giving up, right to the end 👏

A big shout out to everyone who played, coached, umpired and supported. These are the moments we love sharing. ❤️
