⚠️ Urgent Health Risk ⚠️

We’re extremely disappointed, and frankly disgusted, to once again find that several children at our rugby club on Fir Tree Lane have come into contact with dog mess left on the pitches.

This isn’t just unpleasant, it’s a serious health risk. Dog waste can carry harmful bacteria and parasites, which can easily be transferred through contact. In a sport like rugby, where cuts, grazes, and open wounds are common, the risk of infection is significantly increased. Exposure in these conditions can lead to illnesses that are entirely preventable!

Our pitches are used by children who should be able to train and play in a safe, clean environment. It’s unacceptable that their wellbeing is being put at risk because some dog owners are not taking responsibility.

We ask all dog walkers to please walk around the pitches, not on them, and to always clean up after their pets. It takes seconds, and it protects the health and safety of everyone using these facilities.

Please respect the club, the players, and the community 🐶 ⚪️🔴🔵
