We play Volleyball for fun every Wednesday arriving at 7pm till 9pm. Everyone welcome - not previous experience required. £5 per session and if you come regularly you will need to join the Glaxo Sports and Social Club which costs £30 per year.

We have been invited to attend a "try a new sport" day at St Marys School in Ulverston on 10 july. It runs from 11 to 4 but we can pick what times we are available for. We have games running, and interested parties are shown how to play and then get to have a go with the teams that are playing. It is meant to encourage people to try new sports. We need a min of 7 people who definitely want to participate to make it worthwhile. If you would be interested please let me know and if you have a preference for times. I will keep a note and if we get enough I will confirm we are going. Thanks

GARSTANG FRIENDLY GAME TODAY I have just spoken with Jack from Garstang. They are still coming today even though it is windy. The hall is open from 2pm to set up and warm up practice starting from 2.15. We need to be out of the hall by 5pm. Good luck everyone

our longer playing members will remember Gary Pettit and Megan Pettit who we played sitting volleyball with. They set up a Wheelchair Rugby Team closer to their home. We'd be grateful if you would support for their club by voting for this funding for them. Good luck Gary and Megan!
