This does not affect Cumbrian Cow Ice Cream!

After careful consideration we have decided not to open the Cumbrian Cow Maize Maze again, although we didn’t realise it at the time 2024 was our final season.

We have toiled over this decision for a number of months but decided to prioritise our time with our own children through the summer. Running the maize has been extremely enjoyable, and we feel truly sad to see it finish, but we want to focus on the opportunities coming up on the farm.

It has been a pleasure opening our gates to everyone over the last 4 years. Seeing so many families having so much fun exploring the Maize Maze and Fun Zone has really made it all worthwhile.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank a few people who have helped over the last 4 years.

Our amazing team of staff have been a pleasure to work with. One of the best parts of running the maize was hearing the positive comments from the public about you and watching you grow in confidence as the seasons went on.

We’d also like to thank Jade & Dan, DJ Thompson Gardening, they have been with us from the start, nothing has been to much trouble, and we’d highly recommend them to anyone wanting help in the future.

Lastly to Mike and Denise who have supported us throughout we couldn’t have done it without you.

Well that's a wrap, 2024 over and out!

We would just like to say a huge thank you to this bunch, they have been fantastic to work with all summer.

We wish them all the luck for the year ahead with College, Uni and Apprenticeships.

Thank you to everyone who has visited the Maize and Fun Zone, we will see you again next summer.

🚜🌽Today is the Furness & District Tractor Run. The tractors will be coming past the Maze and finishing their journey at Cumbrian Cow Ice Cream. This is all for a great cause, raising money for StMarys Hospice.🌽🚜

We will also have a tractor parked up in the Fun Zone for all those tractor loving kids to have a sit on and their photos taken.

There will be a donation bucket going around for anybody who would like to donate.

We will not be able to open the Maize Maze & Fun Zone today the forecast is just too wet unfortunately.

Looking at the weather going forward this should be the last day that we have to cancel as the weather is set to improve after today.

We apologies for any inconvenience, we are as disappointed as you are.
