Our SportNet system allows you to keep an online record of all your equipment, previous quotations, engineers report sheets & inspection certificates, together with an audit trail of both checks and maintenance should this be required in the event of an accident. Take the one minute challenge with Sport and Play and put discus and hammer cage safety first. A correctly installed and well maintained cage is essential to protect athletes, officials and spectators during both discus and hammer throwing events. Always ensure the netting is securely fixed, properly tensioned and free from tears or wear. The cage panels should be positioned and angled correctly to help contain throws and reduce the risk of ricochet, preventing implements from rebounding back toward the circle or surrounding areas.

Routine safety checks should never be overlooked. Inspect the frame for strength and stability, confirm all ground fixings are secure and make sure the throwing sector is completely clear before every session. Athletes should only throw under supervision and all bystanders must remain outside designated safety zones. With the right precautions in place, your discus and hammer cage can deliver both high performance and maximum protection for everyone on the field.
