Huge shoutout to every single woman I coach, and every single woman who I see training regularly! 💪👩
You're all awesome! For so many reasons that I want to quickly highlight:
🔸️From the offset socially it's harder for a woman to step into a gym and lift weights (p.s I hate this, lifting weights is great and won't make you huge 🤦♂️). This social premise makes even taking the first step EVEN harder
🔸️The pressures again socially on weight lifting, women exercising in general is super outdated but adds pressure to take part in any physical activity in a 'Man's driven world' 🤦♂️
🔸️A fair chunk of women I coach have young children, and this doesn't stop you from getting stuck in and not letting having children prevent you from investing in yourself 🤰👩🍼
🔸️Genetically, it's harder to weight train as a woman (mainly due to the lower levels of testosterone), so strength building can take time. Never stops anyone I know 💪
🔸️Every month, your hormones go through the motions, which affects your training, especially in the luteal phase. This again, never prevents anyone I coach. We just adapt 🙌
There are so many other reasons why you're all amazing, but this is a dedicated shoutout to all you wonderful humans ❤️
