As part of the centenary celebrations for the club, we have commissioned some club hoodies bearing the new logo. They are priced at £25 for adults and £20 for juniors.

As we do not have an eCommerce website, to order, please email Adham Harker at [email protected]: he will confirm stock of your chosen size(s) and arrange for you to make payment to him, to be paid on to the club.

If you are interested in other club-branded clothing, please let Adham know and, if demand is sufficient, we can look at other items too.

Further to updated LTA guidance, social play is now permitted.

Tuesday/Thursday morning sessions will now recommence. Players must enter their details on the register at the club so that the NHS Test and Trace system can be used effectively if needed.

Collingwood is now open once again, but subject to the lockdown requirements published by the LTA.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Collingwood Lawn Tennis Club is now closed until further notice.

This decision has been taken jointly with Cullercoats and Beverley Park Tennis Clubs, which will also be closing immediately.

We will inform the membership as soon as we know more or have any anticipated reopening date.

Anna Winship and Emma Charlton will be running a free girls’ coaching program:-

Clubs combine to offer free 10 week girls Tennis course!
Cullercoats and Collingwood Tennis Clubs have combined forces to offer girls in the area a 10-week free Mini Tennis and Full-ball Tennis course. The courses will be run by local, Level 2 coaches, Emma Charlton and Anna Winship, who recently completed the Northeast Female Coach Mentor scheme. The coaches will be running 3 courses of 10-week duration from Cullercoats and Collingwood clubs which are an ideal introduction, as the course is completely free of charge and equipment is provided. Towards the end of the courses the coaches will be running girls-only LTA Team challenge competitions at each level to put the skills learned into practice.
The courses will be separated into Mini-Red (ages 5-8years) on Tuesdays 5-6pm at Collingwood Tennis Club, Mini-Orange/Green (age 9-11yrs) on Mondays 5-6pm at Cullercoats Tennis Club and Full-ball beginner girls (12yrs and upwards) on Fridays 5-6pm at Collingwood Tennis Club.

Collingwood Ladies’ I and Men’s II have both maintained their respective 100% winning records this season this week, and both remain firmly in the hunt for promotion!
