Little update on the boys..

Fraser, smashed another game for his new Saturday team today, pushing at the top of the league
Harley, another great performance for his new team who are up near the top of the league
Archie bossing it for his new team aswell
Leo and Ando battering Rangers today for Newcastle United Jimbob, Joe and Tom off down to Leicester to play a tournament for Sunderland AFC
Sonny, Blake and Haribo off to Chelsea today getting set to play them and Swansea tomorrow for Middlesboro FC

Quick update on the boys over the summer.

Harley has bossed pre season and has signed for Washington Utd Gold on a Saturday and Sunday

Fraser has smashed his pre season and on a Saturday is playing for Herrington and Washington on a Sunday

Archie has been his usual Mr Consistant signing for Richmonshire Pro Player on Saturday and Boro Rangers on a Sunday

Leo and Ando have signed for Newcastle Utd and have had a great pre season

Joe, Jamsey and Tom have started there U9 season at Sunderland AFC playing some U10 games along the way

Sonny, Haribo and Blakey have had a long break and have started back at Middlesbrough FC playing some friendlies with the U10s

What a night at Witton Park! ⛈️☀️

With the weather forecast we organised games for all our U7,U8 and U9 Witton Park TASC football Teams

Thank you to Coxhoe United Football Club for their under 7s coming over for some practice games against 2 of our u7 sides

Our remaining U7s played in-house games with our U8s

And a special thank you to Sunderland West End Whites U8s / SWE reds U9s playing their last ever game against our U9s. Before 8 of their 11 players move on as they sign into the EPPP with professional clubs

A special night for Tommy who has coached the vast majority of their boys at Boro over the past two seasons. With 3 of the boys choosing the join Middlesbrough.
A great example of the strength of our partnership with Middlesbrough and the opportunities we can afford our players.

The beautiful English weather didn’t dampen our spirits.
Anyone who says sunshine is happiness has never played football in the rain 🙌

The boys where invited over to Witton Park tonight for one last run out as a team against TASC U9
A great game played in fantastic spirit, the sun even managed to shine in between torrential downpours.
Huge thanks to all the parents for bringing the boys out for a late game, they loved it

What can we say about these boys, there final ever grassroots game as SWE before they all leave and go there separate ways.

A scrappy start but the boys class eventually told and we ran out comfortable winners

Runners up in the U9 Spring Cup Division 1 with the full squad playing a year up, winning promotion to the Prem, struggled for a team some weeks due to academy games but we got through it.

THE LAST DANCE

The last grassroots game for these boys, unbelieve quality and the way they play passing football is a joy to watch.
Tomorrow will be an emotional day as a lot of the boys go onto there Academy journey and the others further there flourishing grassroots career with exceptional teams

Get yourself down and give the lads one last cheer.
If we win we finish 2nd in the U9 Spring Cup 1st Division, brilliant and even better with the full team playing a year up.

U9 game this morning against Chester le Street Gold.
The boys got off to a slow start and went a goal down early.
We started to play our passing football and soon took control of the game comfortably coming out winners
Fair play to today's young referee who had a a few tough decisions to make after some very late rough tackles

It's the boys penultimate game as a team together, unfortunately the team will be disbanding due to academy contracts for a lot of the team.
Get down and cheer the boys on, we still have a very faint hope of winning the U9 League 1 Spring Cup which is brilliant, even more so that every child playing is playing a year up !

What a performance from the boys, as quoted from the gaffer "the best the team have played in the 2 years they have been going" outrageous passing, some of the goals scored today where unreal.
The whole team played for each other, battled, passed, wowza, what a performance.
