Another big night of league tennis awaits with three home fixtures and the D Team hitting the road to Tyldesley. Plenty of local bragging rights on the line as the B and C Teams go head-to-head, while the A Team look to continue their strong form against Monton.

A fantastic night for Astley with two clean sweeps and plenty of positives across all three teams.

✅ A Team defeated Monton B 6-0
✅ B Team defeated D Team 6-0
❌ C Team lost to Parr Fold 0-6

A special mention goes to Tony and Pete, who were paired together for the first time and put in a great performance, taking 7 games off the B Team. A really encouraging showing from a new partnership and plenty to build on going forward.

🎾 Bolton Tennis League Results Monday 1st June 🎾

With the weather threatening to wipe out the entire evening, no team selections were posted in advance.

The only match completed was a great result for Astley C Team, who recorded a 5-4 away win over Markland Hill. 👏

The A Team and B Team fixtures were both abandoned due to the rain, with points shared.

Well played everyone who got on court! 🎾🌧️💪

A fantastic away win for the A Team against a strong Claremont B side, taking the match 53-31 👏💪

The B Team battled hard at home against a very strong Roe Green team but came up short 35-54.

Special mentions to super subs Adrian and Louise for stepping in to help the team out at short notice ⭐

And a huge well done to junior Aiofe in the B Team, who won both of her sets against tough opposition 👏🎾
