The TDFC 2025 Open Day went really well! Thanks to all our members and non-members who came for a visit, bit of a chat and some bbq. We met some great people and welcomed new members to the club. We already excited for the next one!

TDFC Open Day – Saturday 26th July

Come and join us at St Patrick’s Stream for a great day of fishing, fun, and food!

Whether you’re a member or completely new to fishing, this is a perfect opportunity to give it a try. Non-members and newcomers are especially welcome – it’s your chance to explore the waters, meet the team, and see what TDFC is all about.

Twyford & District Fishing Club Open Day will be on the 26th July at St Patricks Stream. The day is open to both members and non-members, with non-members getting the opportunity to fish our waters, learn about the club, have tours of venues and a talk on invasive species.

Great work party on the Pats this weekend before the start of the new season. Reeds pulled, deflectors and faggots installed as part of the ongoing rewilding project and a new peg installed on the lower pats. We even found evidence of chub eggs on the gravel in laced in the river last year. Great effort from all involved!

Just a friendly reminder: make sure you're well-prepared with the appropriate-sized net and a reliable unhooking mat for your target species. These essentials not only enhance your fishing experience but also ensure the well-being of the fish we catch.
