East Markham faced a much-improved Alberto’s side since they last met, with a new captain for the visitors in Josh Porter pulling the strings at the back.

East Markham never really got going and struggled with the pace of the game with limited subs available. We’ll be looking to put things right next week. 💪

We wish Alberto’s FC all the best for the upcoming season. 🤝

East Markham FC 3–2 Laxton Athletic FC

East Markham kicked off pre-season with a 3–2 victory.

East Markham created plenty of chances and on another day could have scored more with some sitters missed. It was a positive first run-out for the lads, with lots of encouraging signs to build on.

Credit to Laxton FC, who travelled with 12
players and after an injury early on to there keeper left them with bare 11. A great group of lads and we wish them all the best for the season.
