Thank you to ELYC for a really great regatta. It’s always such a well planned and organised event and really loved by all the sailors. It was even more special to end the weekend as ILCA 7 Scottish Champion.

It was good to be back in my ILCA for the Harken One Design Regatta at Largs. The racing couldn’t have been closer. Thanks to everyone who made it such a great event.

A 50 boat entry from Aberdeen to Southampton across the D-Zero, ILCA, RS200, RS400 and Aero classes turned out for the Harken sponsored One Design Regatta at Largs Sailing Club on the Clyde.

Brilliant week sailing with Calum Bell, Suzie Homer, Christine Wood and Morven Wood as the A-Plan team at the RS21 World Champioships. It was a challenging event and we learned a lot. Delighted to be the third under 23 team. Thank you to everyone who made this event so successful.

After a weekend of very close racing I am delighted to be the ILCA 7 2023 Scottish Champion. Thank you to ELYC for organising and hosting a great event and everyone involved in making it so much fun.

It’s was a bit of a ‘will they, won’t they’ morning and in the end the weather didn’t ease leaving us to do a very soggy pack up. It was a great event, my last ever Youth Nationals. and I am grateful to RYA and all the volunteers for making it a success. I was pleased with my result, 6th in ILCA 7.

Stormy weather yesterday did nothing to derail the fun at the RYA Youth Nationals. We had another great day on the water today and I even managed to be changed in time to greet mum off the safety rib with a hot coffee.
