Turners Hill Village

Spring is ever-so-nearly here... as such, things will start hotting up at Turners Hill Cricket Club very soon!

We have a lot of things to get excited about this coming season - first the first time in the club's history, we have SEVEN different teams/formats to get involved in this year:

- Adult League hard-ball (Saturday)
- Adult T20 hard-ball (typically Wednesday)
- Adult Friendly X1 (Sunday - selected weekends)
- Women's soft-ball (typically Monday)
- U12s Girls hard-ball (Thursday)
- U11s Mixed hard-ball (Tuesday)
- U9s Mixed wind-ball (Sunday)

We are continuing our journey of building a community club for EVERYONE, and hope in the coming years we will be able to support cricket across all primary age groups. If you are looking for an opportunity to get involved in cricket, either playing or otherwise, please get in touch - we would love to hear from you. There is a role for everyone and anyone, our ambitions are lofty and we will only be able to achieve these ambitions with the support of the village.

Morning All,

Thank you hugely to those that have managed to donate so far. We have 22 days left on our campaign, and are desperately trying to get as close to the £10k mark as possible. This new training facility will bring a lot of joy and happiness to many of our residents for years to come.

Whatever you can spare to help us with our fundraising efforts would be greatly appreciated! Happy holidays to one and all :)

📣Calling all members of our community..... 📣

As many of you may know, Turners Hill Cricket Club is on the march - we are working hard to create a premier sports facility in Turners Hill for the benefit of our community. We have seen engagement grow tremendously in recent years with attendance booming amongst our junior-level All Stars & Dynamos programs, as well as our ladies soft ball cricket team that launched this summer. In addition to our men's team, we now have thriving club with an offering for everyone... sadly, we do not have the necessary facilities to comfortably accommodate everyone today.. until now.... (cue dramatic music 🎼)....

In short - we have a bold ambition to install a brand-new, state-of-the-art training facility next Spring. With the help of funding from Mid Sussex District Council, we have secured a large portion of the funding needed. Sport England have also pledged £5,000, provided we CrowdFund a further £5,000. This is where we need you - we are kindly seeking donations to help raise the £5,000 needed to unlock the pledge money from Sport England. **2025 Adult First XI Fixture List**

Home games will commence from 1pm at Turners Hill Cricket Club, opposite Tulleys Pumpkin Farm. Come along and enjoy a game with refreshments on the hill! Looking forward to seeing many familiar and new faces this season!

Following on from the success of our U11s Girls team last summer, Turners Hill CC is pleased to announce the launch of our inaugural U10s junior team for 2025!

U10s play competitive 'pairs cricket' against other local clubs (most likely on Saturday mornings) throughout the Spring and Summer. It's the perfect format for children new to cricket, with all children encouraged to bowl and bat. We will also offer weekly training sessions in May & June to hone skills and have some social fun in the sun :)

Please get in touch if you would like to find out more - this will be a fun way for your children (boys & girls) to get their first taste of competitive cricket in a friendly and nurturing environment.
