Fantastic weekend of achievements for our TriSwim athletes and squad swimmers.

Roger Moore:
1st Vet and 2nd overall at the Uckfield triathlon.
Roger is well on his way to the AG Sprint Finals at Rotterdam. Rogers journey into triathlon has been inspirational, and we're so pleased to be making this journey with him.

Sofia Hinkley:
4th overall woman at the Olympic Seaford .
Sofia has worked SO hard on her swim, and although was exceptionally nervous to be swimming 1500m sea open water - she gritted her teeth and showed amazing determination.

We're really proud of our athletes!

We're very pleased to announce that we have obtained more pool training time for our Swim squad!

Swim Smooth Kent now swim:
Tuesdays Edenbridge Swimming Pool 9 - 10pm
Fridays Edenbridge Swimming Pool 6pm - 7pm
Sundays Sevenoaks Leisure Centre 8pm - 9pm

Thursdays (open water during summer) Honnington Farm, 6pm - 8pm

We are now taking applications for membership to the Swim Smooth Squad - only 20 swimmers will be accepted for September intake!

This is a still from a video taken 20 minutes apart. Same day, same swimmer.

Michael came to see us yesterday because he had pain in his shoulders, and was stagnating with his freestyle.

He had a horrible cross-over which was causing shoulder, neck, and hip pain as he was creating lateral deviation through the hips, and having to counter the cross-over with a wide arm pull, and 'wiggling' head.

20 minutes later, and after going through Swim Smooth correction - he's now swimming with a great, straight entry - removing all pain, and helping improve his stroke!

In Michael's own words: 'I had absolutely no idea I was crossing over, let alone as badly as it was!'

Video analysis is vital in improving your freestyle, or any stroke in swimming!

Well done to everyone who took part in Kent's FIRST Swim Smooth OW clinic on Sunday at the stunning Hever Castle.

We have just released more dates throughout the summer to learn the Swim Smooth method in open water, and prepare for your open water triathlon:

We had 15 children, and 30 adults join us in what was a fantastic afternoon in the open water learning essential open water skills, open water technique and race-specific training.
