Emily McAllister-Brown has over 28 years experience teaching students aged 2 to over 70 years young! She successfully founded and ran The McAllister-Brown Dance School in 2000 -2018. Many students have gone on to have amazing careers in the performing Arts including This Boy Tom - Brighton Fringe and Off Broadway NYC, Matilda - West End, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory - West End, Les Miserable
West End, BBC1 Mathew Bourne’s ‘Swan Lake’ at Sadlers Wells‘Strictly Come Dancing’ with The Wanted, ‘UK Productions’ tour of ‘Seven Brides for Seven Brothers’, dancing with the ‘Pussy Cat Dolls’ and working on other pop videos, Cruises, Crazy Horse world wide, La Nouvelle in Paris, professional pantomimes and many more. It was an amazing time with students fulfilling life long dreams. She is personally affiliated to ISTD, RAD and IDTA. She is also a member of Equity. Emily has worked in television and Theatre including working with Arlene Philips, Simply Red, AC/DC, Brit Awards, EastEnders, Casualty, Dangerfield and The London 2012 Olympics Closing Ceremony, with Kim Gavin. Emily trained at the acclaimed London Studio Centre and had also trained in LA, Paris and New York. Emily has also choreographed for many local shows including ‘Anything Goes’, ‘The Lion the Witch And The Wardrobe’, ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ and variety shows. She has also choreographed for ATA Productions performances of ‘Life on Earth’ and ‘To Die For’ at the London Palladium and Theatre Royal. Emily has been guest teacher for Kent Youth Ballet, choreographer for Footprints Dance Company and taught for various State Schools, Independent Schools and Dance Schools in the Kent area. Emily currently teaches for Gabriella's School Of Performing Arts and Beechwood Sacred Heart School Tunbridge Wells. In her spare time she enjoys running and going to the gym. Her passion is theatre and regularly attend live performances locally and in London. She is a proud Mum of two boys, a married to Clive. They have a lovely dog Lily and a cat called Chelsea.
