Thanks to everyone who attended our Drug Wars event this weekend, that was an absolute BLAST!
Here's a debrief!
The Tejon had definitely read the assignment, setting up a cookhouse and producing large amounts of powerful narcotics, even with the efforts a lone DEA agent who managed disable the cookhouse dor a short time with a c4 flavoured addition.
The Tejon quicly got to work repairing or replacing damaged equipment and getting the cookhouse back up and running, with product again quickly heading out to safehouses.
They also upped security after being caught off gaurd, and soon after, learned the guy they had called in for transport, was being closely watched by the DEA.
Soon enough, some of the drug mules weren't making it to the safehouses, or the product was going missing, and the Tejon felt the net of the DEA tightening down, with smaller scale operations getting raided and shut down.
Yet still, the illicit product continued to roll out, the Tejon somehow keeping the upper hand.
The DEA came down on the Tejon even harder when they seized a private jet shortly after it landed and arrested its pilot, who was being forced to transport the Tejon product.
The Tejon responded violently, with all out assaults at multiple DEA facilites in an attempt to silence the pilot, retrieve control of the aircraft, and disrupt anything and everything they could to stop the DEA destroying their operation.
The Tejon were successful in the attack at the airfield, and reinforced themselves to the point the DEA had to take a step back and rethink thier approach.
Whilst Tejon muscle was stretched, the DEA made thier move, raiding a Tejon stronghold, and capturing the man behind the Tejon, behind the operation..
He died mysteriously shortly after...some say that he was killed being used as a meatshield by DEA agents during a firefight aginst Tejon fighters, or he died later from the wounds... others believe he was tortured during interrogation
What ever happened, everyone agrees the Tejon leader was shot multiple times by rifle calibre, and 3 times at close range by a pistol.
The seized aircraft had attempted to take off from the airfield a few hours after the death of the Tejon leadership. It exploded into a fireball shortly after take off.
It is believed what was left of the Tejon cartels leadership was onboard at the time.
The DEA announced the days of the Tejon cartel were 'diminishing every second', but refused to comment on the incident involving the jet...
