🎉 WHAT A HALF TERM, CDS FAMILY! 🎉

We are officially catching our breath after an absolutely unbelievable few weeks. To say we are proud of our CDS team and students would be a massive understatement. You have all worked incredibly hard, pushed your boundaries, and shined brighter than ever! ✨

The Grind: Countless classes, intense rehearsals, and focused exam prep.

The Big Stages: Taking on TWO huge National Competitions and delivering show-stopping Performances!

London Trip 2026: Success! 🎭✨

What an absolutely unforgettable weekend in London for our incredible dancers! From world-class training to West End magic, our students threw themselves into every single moment.

Here is a glimpse into our packed itinerary:

Day 1: West End Intensity 🩰
We kicked things off at the iconic studios for two incredible workshops led by incredible professionals who are both currently performing in the West End. The energy in the room was incredible!

The O2 Takeover 🎳
We wrapped up our first evening with a brilliant night . Let's just say the dance skills are elite, but the bowling skills? Highly debatable! Plenty of strikes, a few gutter balls, and endless laughter.

Day 2: Behind the Curtain & Wicked 💚
Our dancers pushed their musicality further, working directly with a West End Musical Director . This was followed by an exclusive, inspiring Q&A session with a current West End star giving our students a real insight into the industry.

The Grand Finale 🧹
We ended our trip on the ultimate high, heading to the Apollo Victoria Theatre to watch Wicked—getting to see our Q&A guest shine live on stage!

We are so incredibly proud of how our students conducted themselves, worked hard, and supported one another throughout the entire trip. You are all an absolute credit to the school! 🌟

🏆 SWEPT AWAY BY SOAR CHAMPIONSHIPS! 🏆

What an absolutely incredible way to finish an unforgettable year of competitions! Our teams were quite literally flying yesterday, and we could not be prouder of every single dancer who stepped onto that floor.

But if you know us, you know it’s never just about the trophies.

What truly amazes us is the growth these young dancers achieve. They treat every single workshop, class, and competition as an opportunity to learn, evolve, and elevate their craft.

More than that, they show an overwhelming amount of love, respect, and support—not just for their teammates, but for every other dancer in the room. In fact, our students made such an impact that the event organiser personally came over to speak with us. He shared how much he loved the energy, culture, and support our students bring to the floor, adding that he wishes he had more schools just like ours in his competitions! 🥹✨

Wow. Just wow.

To our dancers: you are remarkable. This moment is living proof that focusing on mindset, community, and holistic guidance creates the perfect atmosphere for young minds to thrive. You aren't just becoming beautiful dancers; you are growing into exceptional, well-rounded individuals.

The energy in the studio has been absolute magic lately. We’ve watched our students reach incredible new heights in technique and confidence across every style—and it shows! Because of this amazing momentum, our current term is now fully booked.

The results are in, and our hearts are full! Our incredible Elite teams took to the floor at the Xcite Championships in Tewkesbury, and they didn’t just bring home trophies—they brought home a wealth of experience, growth, and memories to last a lifetime. 🏆💃
