Truro Orange Ball Whirlwind Matchplay🟠🎾😁
A great turnout for our orange ball (9&U) Matchplay today with eight players coming from across Cornwall, Devon and Avon. Every player showed so much determination and sportsmanship it truly was the perfect spectacle of junior tennis! Added with the players producing so many spectacular shots and epic rallies.
Big thanks to Joel for running the event and to Ella for assisting.

Truro Red Ball Whirlwind Matchplay🔴🎾😀
A massive well done to all the players who took part in our Red Ball (8&U) Matchplay, today in the beautiful sunshine! All the players produced some lightning fast tennis and most importantly showed a great passion and love for the game!
Also, a massive thanks to Joel for organising the event and to Bea for assisting!

A fabulous win tonight at St Austell, powered by the on-fire pairing of Sarah and Jess! They combined brilliantly to beat St Austell's first pair in a MTB 10-3 and doubled bageled their second pair. Chloe and Margaret picked up one win , so overall a great win.

Gruelling match in the wind and rain. Steve and Kieran started strongly but succumbed to the elements in the 2nd match. James and Mark, on his last match for the club, fought to the bitter end to dig out 2 massive wins. A well earned 8 points💪

Hi to all, due to a pretty poor weather forecast this evening we have decided to postpone the basic life support session today and we will reschedule this and let players know of the new date.

Truro D played their second match of the season this morning against a strong Newquay D. Debut performance for Reeve, who was paired with Jarrod who won both their matches convincingly. Not so for Deba and Richard, who battled hard but lost both matches, leading to a draw, which on countback lead to a Newquay win 6-4.

Fabulous team win! Florence and Jess made great debuts. Florence played with Alelie and they won both matches in straight sets. Jess played with Margaret and they beat Wadebridge's first pair 6-4, 6-4 in a tight tussle. They'd already lost in another tight match on a MTB 8-10, so lovely for Jess to also have a win in her first league match before she had to rush to a swimming gala!
