Together We Keep The Paddock Clean.

At Kilters Hounds, we’re incredibly proud of the community we’ve built. Every day, responsible dog owners bring their hounds to enjoy our 3-acre secure paddock, helping to make it a safe, enjoyable and welcoming space for everyone.

Like any dog space, occasionally a missed poo happens. Across 3 acres, no one expects perfection. We’re certainly not looking to become the “poo police”!

Instead, we’d love to strengthen the community spirit that makes Kilters Hounds special.

💚 That’s why we’re launching the Team Kilters Pay It Forward Challenge.

The idea is simple:

🐾 Pick up after your own dog as normal.

🐾 If you spot any additional dog mess during your visit, please help by picking it up too.

🐾 We provide free dog waste bags at the paddock to make it easy.

🐾 After your visit, comment on this post with the number of extra poos you collected.

Every comment will earn you an entry into our prize draw, and every extra poo collected will contribute towards our Team Kilters community total.

🏆 PRIZES

🎁 One lucky Team Kilters member will be chosen at random to win a Dog Hamper packed with treats, goodies and useful items for both hounds and humans.

🏅 The biggest contributor during the challenge will receive a FREE 1-hour Kilters Hounds session.

Our goal isn’t to catch people out. It’s to encourage a culture where we all look after the field together.

Imagine if every visitor picked up just one extra poo during their visit. The difference across a month would be huge.

Together, we can keep the field looking its best, improve the experience for everyone, and show what being part of Team Kilters is all about.

Be quick – our next batch of exclusive Kilters Farm pork meat boxes are now available for collection or local delivery from Friday afternoon.

Packed with premium pork from our own pigs and expertly butchered, these boxes offer outstanding value and a fantastic selection of quality cuts for you and your family to enjoy.

📦 Small Meat Box – £45
✔ Minimum 6kg of premium Cornish pork

📦 Large Meat Box – £60
✔ Minimum 8kg of premium Cornish pork

Every box will include a selection of:

🥓 Back Bacon
🥓 Streaky Bacon
🌭 Sausages (various flavours)
🍖 2 x joints
🥩 A selection of other premium pork cuts

Additional items can be added to the box with a 15% discount applied to the extra items.

Looking for something specific? We can often arrange speciality cuts and bespoke requests if we receive them by Wednesday evening. We’ll endeavour to have our butcher fulfil your requirements wherever possible.

DIY diaries #2

So we have 10 weeks to finish the ‘Boot Room’ ahead of it being fit for its new purpose and these two photos show just how differently Ian & I approach a renovation.

This weekend has been all about plaster-boarding in readiness for the plasterer to come tomorrow and this is where our two brains are just so different.

Ian: ‘Must finish the plasterboard, room must be 100% ready to go including cleaning - wow we have a long way to go and not much time’

Gemma: ‘Wow this room is practically finished so let’s start putting up the wallpaper samples - couple of days and I can start the finishing touches 🤣

Delighted to announce the 2026 Kilters Farm Kids Pony Camp - there will be 2 this summer & a bonus we've held the 2025 prices 😍.

You know the drill.....home for 2 nights will be lovely Bell Tents in our gorgeous paddock with beds & bedding supplied. Food is endless and home cooked from our new commercial kitchen & no need to bring to your own plates or crockery. The lessons are tailored to the group by Emma and the evenings here on the farm are perfect for smores around the camp fire, games & movie night.

The children become part of Kilters family where we ensure that they leave with new skills, new friends & a desire to return the following year.

So tonight we celebrate a big first on our farm - our first birth.

What a lovely surprise to end the week, it feels like such a big moment and not going to lie there were a few tears!

Who knew that when we bought the farm over 2 years ago that I would be stood crying in a field over a little lamb 🐑

We are over the moon - this farm has already given us so much but tonight it’s got even more of our hearts❤️
