Well we wasn’t expecting this today! Changing the event pony to a show pony 🙃Popped along to West Dorset horse show to give Freddie as much experience as possible!

Freddie behaved himself very well! 3rd In the novice, as well as standing on the lorry all by himself ( something the older horses can’t possibly do🙄😂)

Sham is just incredible winning the competition pony, with some lovely comments from the judge! Then onto the championship for reserved champion. And reserved supreme champion🥇🥈🥈 not bad for an event horse!! ❤️

Very good day out showjumping! Shamie jumped a clear in the 1m open, kept it steady as getting close to the start of event season! And just a couple in the 1m05!

Harry jumped two super clears for the win in the 1m open and 3rd in the 1m05 🥇🥉 now time to actually get him fitter so we can go fast again 😅

Baby Freddie came to baby sit the older horses 🤷‍♀️😂 hasn’t been near the lorry since September so very pleased how well he behaved! 💙

A brilliant 4 days jumping at Bury Farm Equestrian Village! Sham jumped some super rounds with DC’s in the 90 open for 3rd & 4th! And ended the week with an unlucky pole at the last in the 1m open and a super round in the 1m05! Harry has also jumped super, started the week slightly bouncy 🙃 but finished with a cracking win in the 1m05 speed class 🥇 and a second place yesterday in the 1m open 🥈

Well 2022 you have definitely been a rollercoaster! The start and end of the year couldn’t have gone any better with a blip in the middle 😵‍💫

Shamie had a brilliant but short event season gaining his badminton qualification for next year 💪🏻 He’s turning into a competitive little show jumper ( a few words we never thought we’d say 😂) after 6 years of really struggling with his jumping we have been able to step him up to 1m05’s, he’s only done a couple but coped with them rather well!! He wasn’t happy about becoming a show pony to keep him entertained while I was off so his showing days was very shortly lived 😂 After my injury he’s won 10 dressage tests on the bounce 🫣 and getting his qualification for nationals! Sham finished the year in 9th in the south west and 81st in the uk on the British showjumping bronze league 🤍

Harry’s slowly getting the hang of the dressage with a few wins BD!! He’s also got his National qualification!! His showjumping has been brilliant! I’m finally understanding how he likes to be ridden and we are getting the hang of these newcomers! Lots of exciting things planned with him for next year! Harry finished 5th in the south west and 33rd in the uk on the British showjumping bronze league 💚

Baby Freddie went to his first few shows! Coming 3rd in a big environment at Dorset County and winning the best 2 year old! Very excited about his future 💙

We also sold our lovely Teddy after 6 incredible years! And I’m loving seeing how well he is doing in his new home, so proud how much they have come on in a short space of time❤️

A massive thank you to everyone that has helped me this year while I was off! And Mum & Dad for taxiing us around and being the unpaid grooms once again!

A very cold day showjumping! Shamie just rolled a pole in the Joshua Jones qualifier however absolutely over the moon how he dealt with stepping up a height! Definitely wasn’t small for his first one but made it feel super easy jumping a lovely clear with loads of room over everything 🔥 Harry taught me today to listen to your horse when they aren’t feeling it. A couple of uncharacteristic poles in the 1m05 then just a major error in the newcomers so I decided to retire and save him for another day 💚
