7 WARRIORS, ENDLESS HEART ⚔️🔵⚫
STAMINA, SPIRIT & THE PERFORMANCE OF THE SEASON AT QUEEN’S MARGARET ACADEMY 🏟️💙🖤
What an incredible game today this one will live long in the memory! 🤩
We headed to Queen’s Park to take on Valspar, a really well‑organised, strong side, and this match was absolutely all about stamina and giving 100% nothing less would do.
The challenge was huge from the start: Troon FC had only 7 players today no substitutes, no fresh legs, no game changers to bring on. Just 7 boys, every single one of them having to play every minute, run themselves into the ground, and dig deeper than ever before. 🛡️💪
First Half:
Valspar came out flying constant, non‑stop attack, strong runners, and brilliant organisation. We defended incredibly well, bodies on the line, heads clear, but they managed to take a 2‑nil lead into the break. The effort was massive already, but we knew there was more in the tank if we kept believing.
Second Half — THE COMEBACK: 🚀
The boys switched on like never before. Heads stayed high, even with tired legs kicking in, and they pushed through the fatigue that’s where the character showed!
It started with a moment of pure quality: Nathan distributed it perfectly from goal, Brodie ran the FULL length of the pitch, took a brilliant touch, and slotted it home what a goal to get us going! ⚡⚽️
From there, we grew in confidence. Great link‑up play saw Bailey step up smashing home two fantastic goals after moving from defence into attack showing exactly what he’s capable of! 💥⚽⚽️
And what about Alberto? 🤯 Absolutely incredible on the left wing he showed everyone exactly what he can do, running at defenders, creating chances, and his strike today was simply out of this world pure class! ✨
We defended like lions too Valspar came back strong again, big physical players throwing everything at us, but our shape held, our tackles were firm, and every single boy covered every blade of grass.
When the final whistle blew, the score stood at Troon FC 4 – 5 Valspar. 💔
It was tight, it was tough, and if the game had gone on another 5 minutes, I truly believe we’d have got that equaliser. But what a performance we pushed one of the best teams we’ve faced all the way, with just 7 men, and scored 4 fantastic goals.
🌟 SHOUT‑OUTS & INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS:
🧤 Nathan: Another absolutely outstanding performance between the sticks. Great distribution to start our first goal, brave claims, and made big saves when we needed them most. Top keeper! 🐱🔥
🛡️ Noah: Brilliant job at the back solid, dominant, and loved seeing him push forward and dominate midfield too when we needed extra energy. Never stopped working! 🚧👊
💨 Olly: Started the first half on the right wing and did a great job, then slotted back into right‑back/defence for the second half a massive shift, held his own against strong runners, and never put a foot wrong. Versatile and reliable! 🔄💪
⚡ Bailey: What a game! Worked hard in defence first half, then switched to attack and showed his quality two fantastic goals and full of energy. So much potential! ⚽⚽✨
🏃 Brodie: 100% from first minute to last. Ran everywhere, covered every position, battled through tired legs, and got himself a well‑deserved goal. The definition of team spirit! ⚽️🔥
🌟 Alberto: Incredible performance on the left. Skill, pace, power, and that strike… wow. A joy to watch when he’s in full flow! 🚀
💪 Austin: Massive performance today! Up against some very physical players, but he held his own every single time, never backed down, and gave 100% effort from start to finish. Brilliant attitude and work rate! 🔵⚫
Massive thanks to Valspar for a brilliant, hard‑fought, competitive game great football played in the right spirit and big thanks to Michael (their coach) too, well played to you and your team. 🤝👏

To everyone who travelled down and came to support today you were absolutely brilliant and did an amazing job cheering the boys on from start to finish. Your voices, your encouragement, and your backing mean the world to us, especially on days like this when the boys had to dig so deep. We couldn’t do this without you thank you! 💙🖤👏
Today proved one thing more than anything: Troon FC never gives up. 7 players, no subs, against a top side and we played them off the park for large parts. The stamina, the heart, the teamwork… I couldn’t be prouder.
