West Coast Paddleboards We offer introductory and intermediate paddle board lessons in the Ayrshire area. Group coaching up to 6 people or 1:1 lessons available.

Our aim is to promote safety and confidence in the water in fun sessions Thank you for visiting our page and we look forward to welcoming you for tuition and fun at our school. We offer both introductory and intermediate stand up paddle board (SUP) lessons in the Ayrshire area. We have a range of Sandbanks SUP boards and safety devices you can use, or you can choose to bring along your own. Group

lessons of up to 4 people or 1:1 lessons can be arranged. All age groups are welcomed from young children to octogenarians, both males and females, hen and stag dos and team building events and our instructor who has over 40 years of experience in teaching a very wide range of ages and abilities in a variety of water
sports and the emphasis within the school is promoting safety and increasing confidence in a fun and relaxed environment. Lessons will take place in the best possible location depending on the weather conditions on the day. Our instructor holds the Stand Up Paddleboard Inland Open Water qualification, awarded by the Scottish Canoe Association, which allows him to lead an experienced group into open water that exceed the sheltered water definition where the paddlers are no more than 500m offshore and in wind strengths that do not exceed Beaufort force 4. It also includes moving water environment up to but not including Grade 2 rivers. The instructor is certified in Open Water First Aid and holds full insurance through the Scottish Canoe Association.
