Well done to our 2026 winners, Jim Simpson, Fraser Simpson, Cammy Simpson and Stuart Skeldon.

Commiserations to the runners-up, Douglas Russell, Stephen Young, Jim Cullen and Colin Walker, who lost out in a closely contested final 8-7.

We hope everyone had a great weekend! A massive thank you once again to everyone that entered, travelling from as far as Campbeltown, Letterkenny and Wick to be a part of the competition.

To all our amazing volunteers and helpers - thank you for giving up your time to support the event. Our thanks also go to Castle Water, Hamilton Tarmac, Highlander Security Systems, Pro-Turfcare Ltd and Specsavers Irvine for sponsoring this year’s tournament and making our £5,000 prize pot possible.

🤩 Our quarter-finalists are now confirmed for tomorrow’s knockout stages.

Congratulations to all eight teams who battled their way through today’s group phase. Play commences at 10am on Sunday morning with £5,000 being awarded in prize money throughout the day.

A huge thank you once again to all 36 teams that entered the competition, your support is greatly appreciated! 👏🏻

💪🏻 Preparations are coming together for the big weekend!

We’re looking forward to hosting 36 teams and 144 players at our club tomorrow for the 2026 Troon Bowling Club Open Fours sponsored by Castle Water, Hamilton Tarmac, Highlander Security Systems, Pro-Turfcare Ltd and Specsavers Irvine.

🍻 For any teams travelling to the Ayrshire coast today, the club’s bar will be open at 3pm where you will be more than welcome to join us.

⚽️ On Saturday will be showing Scotland’s home send off friendly ahead of the FIFA World Cup against Curacao at 1pm, followed by the UEFA Champions League final involving Arsenal and PSG at 5pm.

🤝 Be sure to come along, soak up the friendly atmosphere and be part of a big weekend of sport both on and off the green.

🤩 | 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗥𝗔𝗪

We are pleased to share the draw for the 2026 Troon Bowling Club Open Fours sponsored by Castle Water, Hamilton Tarmac, Highlander Security Systems, Pro-Turfcare Ltd and Specsavers Irvine which takes place on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st May.

Sections A, B & C should report for 9am for a 9.30am start, whilst Sections D, E & F should report for 10am for a 10.30am start.

For any teams travelling from afar, the club will be open in the evening on Friday 29th May, and you are more than welcome to have a practice on the green or enjoy a drink in the bar. Please note that we encourage using cash throughout the weekend for both the bar and kitchen.

👕 A final reminder that there is a relaxed dress code for the entire tournament so casual dress is encouraged, the only rule is no football tops are allowed.

A huge thank you to everyone that has entered for their continued support. We look forward to welcoming you all to Troon Bowling Club! 🤝

👀 Entries are now open for the 2026 Troon Bowling Club Open Fours.

💰 Our team have been working hard behind the scenes during the off season, and we are delighted to announce a £1,000 increase in our overall prize pot to £5,000 for this year’s tournament. This would not have been possible without the amazing support and generosity of our five dedicated sponsors; Castle Water, Hamilton Tarmac, Highlander, Pro-Turfcare Ltd and Specsavers Irvine.

✍🏻 36 entries will now be taken on a first come, first served basis, and can be submitted by emailing [email protected] or by messaging our page. We also have an Information Pack available which covers various aspects of the competition.

We expect entries for this year’s competition to fill up fast so be sure to get in touch ASAP! 📱
