Today we traveled to Largs to play our first game of 11s and the boys put on a show, with changes with more players on the park and it being a bigger park there was a lot to get used to, but the boys done great, with emphasis on moving the ball into wide attacking areas and being disciplined in positions we started the game brilliantly, every player followed instruction and got the reward with loads of goals and very nice passing and moving all over the park

The full team could have been player of the match,

But for his tireless efforts in the middle of the park and playing the simple ball perfectly and controlling the middle of the park with his range of passing, coaches player of the match went to Finlay sponsored by Ayrshire Fence & Garden Ltd and garden services

And for his trickery down the line and brilliant effort both defensively and attacking he was on point all game was Bryce Coll sponsored by ACE Renewables
Got referee’s player of the match

The Troon fc 14s closed the book on the 9s journey and they really enjoyed it with a great attitude 7 games, 20 minutes each with 2 minutes to get set and go again, they really put in the effort and got the reward with fantastic results against all team participating, thanks to East Kilbride Colts 2014’s for hosting the afternoon tournement

Today marks the end of our 9s season in the AYFL, we have bonded and had some brilliant football games along the way, from a coaching point of view the boys have been a delight to watch grow and florish into the team they are, the effort is always faultless and that’s all we can ask for,

We travelled to AC Irvine 2014’s thank you for hosting us and all the best for 11s

The game was played at a high tempo but very tight, we asked the boys to open up the play and get wide and that’s how we started to get into a rythem, some clinical finishing saw us take the lead into half time,

After the break we took it to another gear and scored some great team goals and individual goals, we even managed to pop up with a goal from a corner routine 🚀 ⚽️ 🥅

A very pleasing end to league action, now to the East Kilbride Colts 2014’s tournement on the 31st to close out and celebrate this 9s journey

Referees player of the match was a collective squad award from all players 👏

Coaches player of the match went to Dee for clinical finishing at important moments of the match well done

Today we played our last home game of the 9s chapter, and it was an entertaining game, thanks to Bonnyton Thistle Reds 2014s

We asked the boys to play brave on the ball and play from the back and they did this through out the match, but learning to do so left us open to conceding a long range shot over the keeper, a well taken shot but a small error in our play led to a miss placed pass to create this chance,
We stuck to the game plan and things started going our way.

With great feet from Bryce to cut in and take a well placed shot, to take it into half time at 1-1, 🏃‍♂️ ⚽️

After the break we continued in the same vein and after a free kick was awarded at the edge of the box Bryce popped up with a lovely free kick into the side netting to take the lead, 🥅 ⚽️

The team pressed on and with some great saves from Bradley kept us in the lead until a wonder strike that nestled in the top corner leveled the game, 🥅 ⚽️ 🧤

A quick reaction from the boys saw Harry slip in Jude for a cool finish past the keeper to take the lead. ⚽️

Another few saves from our keeper Bradley kept us on track for the win, 🧤

Thanks again to Bonnyton for a great game today and enjoy the transition to 11s.

Referees player of the match was Bradley Leckie for his stand out saves through out the match sponsored by ML Roofing

Coaches player of the match was Bryce Coll for his clinical finishing and technical play sponsored by ACE Renewables
