We want to wish everyone competing over the weekend at the NAF Regional Championships the best of luck! Qualifying is a huge achievement, and no matter your results, you should be proud of the dedication, horsemanship and teamwork that goes into competing.

✨D and D+ TEST✨

Amidst all the fun and chaos of this year’s BWHPC summer camp at the lovely Aston-le-Walls, 10 of our campers donned their show jackets and did their D and D+ tests.

All passed with flying colours - a huge congratulations to Bea, Florrie, Bertie, Effie, Florence, Charlotte, Alice, Davina, Poppy and Ava. And an extra well done for being super polite and enthusiastic during the afternoon especially in the hot weather and being day 3 of camp ☺️.

A big thank you to assessor Ellie Binns for coming and joining the mayhem for the afternoon and to Julie Mott, our brilliant DC.

✨The Pony Club Eventing Championships 2026✨

What a fabulous week at the Pony Club Championships at Offchurch Bury!

Eleanor M and Bonnie finished 11th in the individual 90cm Eventing, climbing from 24th after a brilliant clear XC round! 👏🐴

After a challenging dressage test and one pole down in the show jumping, they saved their best for XC producing a fantastic clear round inside the time! With only 32.8% of combinations achieving a clear across the 90cm team and individual sections, this was a brilliant achievement.

Huge congratulations to Eleanor and Bonnie 🎉.

Next weekend we will have the Regional Championships at Aston le Walls to look forward to. We wish all of our qualifying members lots of luck 🍀

✨THE PONY CLUB SHOW JUMPING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026✨

BWHPC show jumpers at this week’s Champs, didn’t have luck on their side. Sadly due to two withdrawals, the 90cm team were not able to compete in the event. Max J did however jump in the individual, but he and Charlie had a difference of opinion in the second round, having gone clear in the first!

Jack J contested the 100cm as an individual on the same day, but was unlucky to have 4 faults in the first round before going clear in the second.

On Wednesday our team of just 3 riders (Max J, Jack J & Flo F) finished the first round on a zero score. Moving in to the main arena for the second round, anchorman Jack had jumped a fabulous clear round, until approaching the last fence Mickey saw “a bogey man” somewhere, dislodging Jack unexpectedly! With no possibility of achieving a placing, the other two riders decided not to jump. …..Back to the drawing board!

As we now enter the last two days of The Pony Club Championships, we wish Eleanor M good luck in the 90cm Eventing 🍀

✨THE PONY CLUB DRESSAGE CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026✨

A huge congratulations to Phoebe C and Jack for a terrific result at Pony Club National Championships 2026 at Offchurch Bury in the Novice dressage.

Phoebe and Jack are a relatively new partnership and this unbelievably was their second dressage test together. They produced a beautifully calm, consistent and confident test which held them in 3rd place for most of the class and were eventually placed 11th out of a big strong field at the end of the day. Well done Phoebe and Jack. A fantastic result for dressage at BWHPC! We hear rumours afoot about a BWHPC dressage team in the making for next year!! ☺️

Pony Club Tetrathlon Championships 2026 🏆🐴

Georgina and Eleanor have just returned from a fabulous weekend at Offchurch Bury, where they shot, swam, ran and rode their hearts out - and what a weekend it was! ❤️

Friday began with the shoot and swim phases for both girls, along with the run phase for Georgina. Some fabulous scores and personal bests put them in strong positions at the end of Day 1, with Eleanor sitting in an impressive 3rd place heading into Day 2 and Georgina also holding a very strong position.

The cross country - and Day 2 for Eleanor - was as technical as we have come to expect, but they both dug deep. Eleanor held onto her 3rd place heading into the final day, where she faced the gruelling run, while Georgina tackled the cross country phase.

Georgina produced a beautiful clear round to score the maximum 1400 points, putting her in a fantastic position in a hugely competitive field.

Eleanor knew it would be tough to hold onto a top 10 placing as she headed into her weakest phase, but she gave it absolutely everything and finished in a fabulous 16th position.

We could not be prouder of them both. 💕 They have worked incredibly hard, supported each other throughout and represented themselves and their ponies brilliantly.

Now onto Week 2 of the Pony Club Championships, which begins tomorrow with the Dressage and Show Jumping! 🌟

Wishing Phoebe C the very best of luck in the Novice Dressage, and Jack J, Max J and Beatrice C lots of luck in the Show Jumping. Then on Wednesday, Bridget H and Flo F will join Jack and Max in the arena.
