Morning session Men's H'Cap, (R/Up Matt Brace, Winner Alun Freeman),Ladies H'Cap,(R/Up Jill Wallis, Winner Gill Hooper), Ladies 2 Wood, (R/Up Anne Morton, winner Lyn Boniface,). Afternoon session, Tom Rolph Trophy, (R/Up Anne Morton, winner Lyn Boniface), Sharman Freeman Trophy,( R/Up Brian Paske, Winner Matt Brace), Fxd Jack, (R/Up Gill Hooper, Winner Alun Freeman), Mens Pairs, (R/Up John Claridge & Mick Langford, Winners David Bergins & John Morton). All main trophies, (for pictures), presented by Club President David Wass.

End of first day of Tring Bowls Club Finals weekend. In the morning we played Ladies Pairs, (R/Up Dee Pyke & Jill Wallis, winners Angela Suggate & Gill Hooper), and the Open Pairs, (R/Up Rob Duling & Matt Brace, winners Anne Morton & Brian Paske). In the afternoon we played Ladies Championship, (R/Up Jo Boniface, winner Lyn Boniface), and the Men's Championship, (R/Up Matt Brace, winner Alun Freeman. All trophies presented by Club President David Wass. Many thanks to all those members who came along and supported the players.

Congratulations to the team of John Morton, Ian Cave, David Fowler and Fay Arnold collecting this year's Cella Cup presented by Club President David Wass. Also congratulations to teammates John Claridge and Jackie Farrow who were unable to attend this evening. All players will be presented with individual trophies at our Presentation Dinner in November.

🔶Yesterday’s Women’s Top Club Last Sixteen between Herts BC and Bletchley Town BC were played in glorious sunshine at Tring Bowls Club.
🔶More than 60 spectators enjoyed some excellent bowls, and after a keenly fought competition, Herts BC emerged victorious and will now go on to play in the quarter-finals at Leamington.
🔶Congratulations to Herts BC, and a huge thank you to everyone who played, supported and helped make the event such a great success.

Last evening saw the start of this year’s Cella Cup, with a beautiful evening, great bowls and plenty of friendly competition! ☀️
