Let’s go over some ground rules.
A good workout is NOT....
❌Trying to sweat as much as you can
❌Excessive cardio
❌Hurting the next day
Things this can cause...
✅ Ruin your joints
✅ Increase your risk of serious injury
✅ Decrease the frequency and consistency of your training.
✅ Cause an addiction to chasing that calorie burn
Of course, there is a time and place for some workouts like this but doing this day in day out is not going to get you the body you desire.
If you have a body goal in mind, you need to find out what it takes to get that body and train in that way. For example, if you want to look like a rugby player train like a rugby player, if you want to look like a runner train like a runner if you want to look like a CrossFitter train like a CrossFitter.. you get the picture.
Don’t fall into the trap that shed loads of cardio will get you the body your chasing, cardio is a very good tool to help you get there but it isn’t always the answer.
Hitting the weights is where your going to build the body your looking for.
