So, a little bit about me - my name is Suzy, I am a friendly extrovert who loves to talk! I am a wife, mother, and devoted Nanny. For the past 24 years I have been supporting Neurodiverse individuals in a further education setting. My passion has always been to support others to achieve their goals by breaking down barriers, and putting strategies in place to help others become the best version of

themselves. I am an accredited coach with the Institute of Leadership and Management with a particular interest in supporting women with Menopause Wellness. As a female that is experiencing the menopause myself, I am fully aware of how important it is to understand our body and the changes that we are experiencing. It can be an extremely scary time and many women often feel alone with their thoughts and feelings, so as a qualified Menopause Wellness Practitioner I am here to listen, help and guide you through this difficult time. My aim as a coach is to reduce your anxiety, build your self-confidence, provide support and for you to ultimately feel you have a more positive mindset. Remember you are not alone; we are in this together! I will support you by offering you recommendations, resources to help you find strategies so that you can work with your changes, both mind and body. I will help you to embrace this stage in your life, to empower to feel like “you” again. Together we can look at the specific symptoms you are experiencing and explore the options that best suit you, so that you can once again enjoy a more harmonious life. Like most women during the menopause I’ve gained weight and especially around my middle. Life is too short to worry about what we look like but focus on the new phase of life and embrace it. I’ve been intermittent fasting which has helped to control the weight gain along with regular exercise. The fasting has helped to control the late night picking and the never ending cups of tea but still eat all the foods and drinks I like. Do what suits you as there are loads of options.

I am so passionate to help and support ladies going through the Menopause. No one should feel alone. By talking about your symptoms is the first step to reducing the stigma and to help with having a better understanding. The support you receive from the group can promote better health and well being and feel validation, but most of all know it’s ok to not feel ok.
